I work with merino wool and hand dyed silk fabrics, embellished with embroidery stitch and beading to create unique pieces of textured artwork. Inspired by the natural beauty of my surroundings living and working in the heartland of the Irish Countryside. The seasonal colour changes of flowers and foliage produce an ever-changing landscape rich in heritage, mythology and sacred symbolism . From the rugged coastline of the Wild Atlantic Way to Ireland’s Ancient East, come with me on my textile adventure, capturing sea views, bog lands, hills and valleys using traditional materials and skills to create individually made contemporary Artwork.
